Cayman Airways Limited (CAL), which happens to be
the national carrier of the Cayman Islands, has been
titled among the best global airlines in the world, in
Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards this year.
Declared on Tuesday July 9, Cayman Airways stands as
the only carrier in the western hemisphere to get a top-
15 place in the ‘Best International Airlines in 2024’
group of the honors. Among the top 15 with Cayman
Airways are other respected global airlines like
Singapore Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Emirates and
Qatar Airways. This assessment by Travel + Leisure
of all global carriers ranked all airlines based on cabin
luxury, on-board facility, customer service and worth.
The score attained by Cayman Airways has also
positioned it as the highest-ranking carrier of all
airlines functioning flights to and from the Cayman
Islands.
Kenneth Bryan, the Minister for Tourism and Ports
stated his contentment at the declaration, saying that

this is an amazing honor for Cayman Airways to be
acknowledged as one of the greatest global airlines in
the world. Scoring so favorably among some of the
major global carriers is an accurate substantiation of
their national airline’s excellence and reliability. The
Minister said that he is happy about Cayman Airways
for continuing to increase and improve the traveler
experience, and he would like to compliment the
administration and Board of Directors, staff and team
members for their amazing efforts for receiving this
well-earned, first-rate acknowledgment.
