TAP Air Portugal is reintroducing flights between Lisbon and Manaus, the capital of Amazonas state, operating three times a week with a layover in Belém on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The inaugural flight is set for November 4th. With this renewed service, TAP now serves 13 Brazilian capital cities with a total of 15 routes (13 to Lisbon and two to Porto).

Previously, TAP operated flights to Manaus from 2014 to 2016. Tickets for the Lisbon-Manaus flights are now available for booking on flytap.com and through travel agencies, featuring promotional round-trip fares starting at 599 euros.

For Luís Rodrigues, CEO of TAP, “Brazil is strategic for TAP and the return of our flight to Manaus is another sign that we will continue to invest in the development of our operations in that country. We recently launched a new route to Florianópolis and we will end this year with at least 15 routes to Brazil, record numbers for the airline in our sister country.”

During the summer season, despite the temporary halt of flights to Porto Alegre, TAP Air Portugal offers 95 weekly flights to Brazil, averaging 13 flights per day. These flights depart from 13 state capitals across Brazil.

It also connects Porto to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In total, TAP Air Portugal offers direct connections between Portugal and 13 cities in Brazil (15 routes from Lisbon and Porto).
