Since January, Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have been working closely with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) as it evaluates the proposed merger of our two airlines. Earlier this year, both parties agreed to extend the review period for the DOJ to assess the transaction, initially setting the new deadline for August 5, 2024. Recently, we have collectively agreed to a brief extension, now extending the review period until August 15.
