The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) USA has appointed ten renowned travel advisors to its newly established Tourism Advisory Committee. The committee, which is effective immediately, will play a crucial role in helping to elevate the country’s tourism profile, create stronger marketing strategies, and promote customized travel experiences for visitors to the twin-island nation. The advisory committee is composed of ten distinguished experts in the field of travel and tourism, representing various travel agencies across the United States.

The newly appointed members of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Advisory Committee include Paula McCarty of Travel Smart with Paula, Natalie Fagglanelli of Bayside Travel, Kimberly Jacoby of Romantics Travel, Donna Blasi of Blissful Honeymoons and Destination Weddings, Mark Hennigan of Destination Weddings and Honeymoon Specialist, Kathy Brancifort of First Class Travel, Viviane Gringer of Travel Edge, Roberta Long-Keileher of Protravel International, Daren Southgate of Tzell Long Island, and Sally Smith of Travelsmiths.

These experts bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and invaluable insights to the table, helping the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority in its continued efforts to enhance tourism and market the islands as a premier vacation destination. They will provide key recommendations on sales and marketing strategies, co-op advertising campaigns, consumer promotions, and more. These initiatives are expected to promote Antigua and Barbuda as a desirable travel destination for American tourists, who will benefit from personalized, tailor-made travel experiences curated by these travel professionals.

Mr. Dean Fenton, Director of Tourism at ABTA USA, expressed his excitement about the new appointments, emphasizing the vital role travel advisors play in the tourism sector. In addition to Fenton’s remarks, Mr. Norrell Josephs, the Sales and Marketing Manager for the USA, stressed the importance of strategic partnerships in the tourism industry. Josephs outlined that the Tourism Authority and the Advisory Committee would work together on various collaborative projects, such as co-op advertising campaigns and promotions targeting U.S. consumers. This collaboration is aimed at enhancing the visibility of Antigua and Barbuda as a premier vacation destination and supporting travel advisors in providing their clients with compelling travel options.

The committee members are spread across different states in the United States, providing a nationwide perspective on tourism trends and helping the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority reach new audiences and markets.
