ASM Global, the world’s leading venue management and services company, has appointed Santiago Olea as the General Manager of the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Conference Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With over 10 years of experience in sports, entertainment venues, and major events across the Middle East, Santiago brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.

Prior to joining ASM Global, Santiago was Chief Operating Officer for MBC Events at MBC Group, the largest media company in the Middle East and North Africa. His leadership at MBC helped elevate the company’s event operations, foster strategic alliances, and improve event execution. Additionally, he worked with Live Nation in the Middle East, where he managed venues and attracted high-profile national and international events.

In his new role, Santiago will oversee the planning, operations, and overall customer satisfaction at the KAFD Conference Center, ensuring compliance with ASM Global’s governance and international standards. The state-of-the-art venue is poised to become a key hub for international meetings, trade shows, and cultural events in Riyadh.
