The Black Promoters Collective, a powerhouse coalition of North America’s top African American independent concert promoters and producers, is set to deliver two epic celebrations of Black music, culture, and community this year.

First up, the annual Jazz in the Gardens (JITG) festival in Miami, a beloved tradition that brings together world-class talent for an unforgettable weekend. Then, BPC is teaming up R&B icon Tamar Braxton with rising star October London for their highly anticipated 24-city tour, The October Nights: Calling All Lovers Tour.

Jazz In The Gardens is set to go down in March. 

The Black Promoters Collective will join forces with the City of Miami Gardens for another unmissable celebration of Black music when the highly anticipated JITG music festival returns March 8-9, 2025. Celebrating its 18th anniversary at the legendary Hard Rock Stadium, the unforgettable weekend will include a headline performance from none other than the legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill, the five-time Grammy winner and multi-platinum artist, on March. 8. 

According to a press release, the inimitable star will be delivering a one-of-a-kind “Diaspora Calling Takeover” set, joined by fellow icons Wyclef Jean and YG Marley, plus special guest performances by Doechii, Busta Rhymes, Samara Cyn, Foggieraw, Mannywellz, and Zion Marley.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. On Sunday, March 9, the legendary R&B group New Edition takes the stage as the second headliner. The American Music Award-winning group, whose career spans decades and includes Grammy nominations, is set to bring their signature style and energy to the festival.

Miami Gardens Mayor Rodney Harris is excited to be hosting JITG for another year of Black music and excellence.

This milestone is a testament to the enduring impact this festival has on our community. It brings people together, enriches the quality of life for our residents and visitors, and stimulates our economy,” Mayor Harris said in a statement.

Troy Brown, BPC Partner and CMO, echoed the sentiment.

The October Nights: Calling All Lovers Tour with Tamar Braxton and October London will go down in April.

If you can’t make it to JITG, don’t fret. The Black Promoters Collective will deliver another standout musical experience in April when Tamar Braxton and Grammy-nominated artist October London hit the road for their multi-city The October Nights: Calling All Lovers Tour.

Set to launch April 17 at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk, Virginia, Tamar and October will travel across the U.S., making stops in iconic cities such as New York, Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles, before wrapping up May 31 at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, California.

Adding even more star power to the tour is Ro James, the Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling artist known for his sultry, smooth sound and chart-topping hits. Ro’s magnetic stage presence and powerful performances are sure to make this tour an unforgettable night of R&B magic. Tickets for the general public will go on sale Friday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. local time.
