De Havilland Aircraft of Canada (De Havilland Canada) and PAL Aerospace, building on decades of partnership and collaboration, are excited to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement aims to develop new innovations for De Havilland Aircraft, operated by the PAL Group of Companies, which can then be adopted by other fleet customers.

De Havilland Canada has a long-standing reputation for producing aircraft that can operate safely and reliably for decades in the harshest environments on the planet. The PAL Group of Companies, esteemed De Havilland operators, and leaders in commercial aviation and comprehensive aerospace solutions, are building on this legacy.

Today’s MOU aims to identify innovative solutions and new opportunities for the PAL Group’s De Havilland Canada fleet. The agreement focuses on product developments and improvements in Low Earth Orbit satellite broadband Wi-Fi access and interior passenger/cargo combi configurations specific to the Dash 8-400. Leveraging PAL Aerospace’s expertise in advanced aerospace design, engineering, certification, and aircraft modification, De Havilland Canada and PAL Aerospace will swiftly develop and integrate these solutions into the PAL Group’s fleet. Following successful certification through De Havilland Canada, these innovations will be made available to the broader market.
