The Tourism Fiji Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Paresh Pant as the new Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Fiji, effective mid-October 2025. Dr. Pant, who has over 25 years of leadership experience in the tourism, hospitality, and aviation industries across Fiji, Australia, and New Zealand, will return to Tourism Fiji at a critical time for the country’s tourism sector.

A Wealth of Experience and Proven Leadership

Dr. Pant brings an exceptional track record to his new role. He has previously held senior leadership positions within Tourism Fiji, including Regional Director roles in New Zealand and Australia. In these positions, Dr. Pant was instrumental in driving major visitor growth and crafting crisis recovery strategies that helped navigate challenging times for the tourism industry. His leadership was pivotal in transforming the country’s tourism sector by fostering sustainable growth, enhancing destination marketing strategies, and building strong partnerships with stakeholders.

This academic background, combined with his industry experience, makes Dr. Pant a highly qualified individual to lead Tourism Fiji into the future.
