The Tourism Ministry of Fiji is aiming to explore a lot more into the Asian market and uphold Fiji as its
crucial tourism destination.

Minister Viliame Gavoka specified that at present Fiji functions in the Japanese and Hong Kong markets, and looks forward to entering mainland China in the coming days.

Gavoka said that Asia has the potential to be the market of the future. Asia is a gigantic market for Fiji
considering the assemblage of countries in the continent.

The prospects there for Fiji is virtually boundless.

Gavoka stated that he is assured that Fiji can attain its objective with the existing catchphrase of ‘where happiness comes naturally’ will be the facilitator for achievement.

The Minister said that Fiji witnessed roughly 46,000 visitors every year before the pandemic from China,
and it is one of the highest five source markets for Fiji.

Gavoka said that there will constantly be new markets to discover, which will create new chances for young duos, adventure searchers, business people or tourists looking for health and wellness.
