The collaboration between the Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority and its marketing and advertising partner, Extra Credit Projects, has resulted in a widespread takeover of billboards across the town—and they’re challenging you to locate them all.

In a well-planned initiative to showcase over 30 nonstop destinations, the Airport Authority introduces The GRReat Billboard Hunt, a four-week event designed to inspire the community to embark on a journey to discover all the nonstop travel options available from the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.

Running from January 22nd to February 18th, this experience invites participants to download the Goosechase app from the app store, create an account, and use the code “GRR2024” to join the event. Once in, participants can engage in various missions, capturing billboard images from locations like Atlanta to Washington D.C. Each completed mission earns points and presents the chance to win prizes, such as a $300 flight voucher, destination-themed apparel, exclusive Airport socks, and more.

Haley Abbas, the marketing and communications manager for the Ford International Airport Authority, stated, “We are employing traditional media in unconventional ways. Through this approach, we’ve blended out-of-home advertising with an enjoyable and imaginative interactive experience, forging connections with our community while highlighting our array of nonstop flights.”
