In 2021, Todd returned to his iconic role in the sequel, Candyman, directed by Nia DaCosta. The new film followed artist Anthony McCoy, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who becomes entangled in the Candyman legend while grappling with his own artistic and personal identity. More later but I can’t right now. His passion for acting led him to pursue formal training at the prestigious Eugene O’Neill National Theatre Institute and the Trinity Repertory Conservatory.
