The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG has appointed Till Streichert as a member of its Executive Board, where he will serve as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) starting from September 15, 2024. Streichert will oversee the Finance Division during his three-year term, which concludes on September 14, 2027.

Until Streichert takes over, Michael Niggemann, another Executive Board member, will handle the CFO responsibilities following Remco Steenbergen’s exit on May 7 of this year. Streichert will then manage various sectors within the Finance Division, including Controlling & Risk Management, Corporate Finance, Corporate Accounting, Investor Relations, Corporate Taxes, Financial Services, and Mergers & Acquisitions starting mid-September.

Currently, Streichert is the CFO at Amadeus IT Group, based in Madrid, Spain. Throughout his over two decades in the field, he has occupied several senior executive and financial management roles at various firms, including T-Mobile in the UK, Boston Consulting Group, Vodafone Romania, and Vodacom South Africa.

Streichert earned a PhD in philosophy and a master’s degree in political sciences & philosophy from Leibniz University Hannover. In 2018, he completed the Executive Program at Singularity University in Mountain View, California. He is 50 years old, married, and has a daughter.
