Bob Fisher, Interim Director of the Teamsters Airline Division, has responded to the FAA’s decision to heighten its surveillance of United Airlines with the following remarks:

“United Airlines technicians will continue to provide the highest level of safety to all crewmembers and passengers because they believe in these standards to their core. We look forward to our continued work with federal agencies on improving aviation safety.”

“Our technicians, whose qualifications are paramount, are reminded daily of the necessity to align their work with both the stringent criteria of their employers and the FAA.
