Starting this Saturday, United Airlines will resume transatlantic flights between Malaga and New York-Newark airport, a month earlier than last year’s schedule. The direct service, initiated in 2023, will operate thrice-weekly between the Costa del Sol and the United States.

This extension of Malaga flights supplements United’s existing schedule in Spain, which includes a daily non-stop year-round flight from Barcelona and Madrid to New York. Additionally, the summer program introduces connections between Barcelona and Chicago and Washington, Palma de Mallorca and New York, and a fresh route between Barcelona and San Francisco.

With these additional services, United boosts its flights from Spain by 30% this year. Spain’s expanded routes further solidify United’s position as the largest US transatlantic airline, offering non-stop flights from 37 destinations over the summer, marking its most extensive network in history, surpassing all other American carriers combined.

United’s Malaga to New York service will utilize Boeing 757-200 aircraft, equipped with a total of 176 seats, including 16 flat-bed seats in United PolarisSM and 160 seats in economy class.
